But still good value, methinks - less than we paid for just Green Flag for cover in this country, and for unlimited holidays, anywhere in Europe, plus 365 days cover in GB, it's still pretty a reasonable price.
Yup ... we'll stick with them.
Apart from the story told by (I think) Nee-Naw ... has anyone had any experience of having had to call them out? With what results?
Ive had to call them out twice.. once in England and once in France.. no problems on both counts.. in France we had to be towed off the auto route and stay 4 days in a hotel while the car was repaired, they paid for it all up front apart from he cost of the car repairs, very very efficient.
in England i rang germany they sent the AA out.. the aa where a bit slow tbh but they got us home on a lorry and adac covered all costs.
Just be careful if you decide to name teenage children for 'free' inclusion on your Partner Plus policy. If the child doesn't write, in person, within 3 months of the renewal date, he/she will be considered an independent customer upon reaching 19 years of age and billed.
I find it odd that mum and dad - who instigated the family policy - can't remove the teenage child from the policy, or instruct ADAC not to include that child at renewal. They claim it has to be done by the child (okay, young person!) himself/herself.
