Saw you mentioning the Premiere Classe hotels on another thread. Not used them as we tend to use F1's, but thought I'd have a look.
Really impressed, looks like most have been refurbished and the prices are similar to F1's, but you get free WiFi and an ensuite bathroom!
We've cancelled our F1 bookings for next year and moved three of them over to Premiere Classes -about an extra £8 a night for the two rooms (combined, not each room), but well worth it for the en suite, with the kids with us.
Cheers!

Stayed at a couple of Premiere Classe hotels this year with the one in Caen being pretty new it was in very good condition. Only drawback is they are not manned 24 hours and we struggled to get access out of "normal" hours. Other point to note is the barrier wont open in the morning before 7.30 (I think it was) and we were in a queue to get out as we were catching the early morning ferry. Other than that they are good value for money and many of them are situated next to a Campanile hotel which all seem to have restaurants and you get a discount if you are in the Premiere Classe.

We have only stayed at the one in Aubiere Sud which is very handy for the journey south and a few restaurants within walking distance. Never had a problem with checking in or out even when it's been very busy.
However, the rooms (for 3)are tiny! Not sure if this is the same at all Premier Classe hotels? I like the fact that the door opens onto the outdoor walkway so you can get fresh air (if you don't mine people walking past on the way to their rooms). I seem to be in a minority here though. If you get a ground floor room you can sit outside with a glass of something before bed!
I think they are good value and they have aircon which is lovely on hot muggy nights.

Hi Amanda.
I have been pushing Premiere Classe for years now, I think they are the best of the bunch, and we have yet to land on a bad apple.
The one at Epernay has been the most posh so far although the Campanile was about 1 mile away which was a jip.
The Campanile meal discount of 15% is great and includes the entire meal and all drinks.
Also at the Premiere Classe hotels that are in the same grounds as a Campanile were the posh folk stay, you often get to take your breakfast in the Campanile, which has a more extensive range than the Premiere Classe for no extra cost.
You can always spot the Premiere Classe folks as they unashamedly stock up for lunch from the breakfast bar!!!.
We have only ever come across one other Brit at the Premiere Classe hotels plenty of Dutch and Germans though but mostly French.
Did you know that there is a Premiere Classe hotel at Coventry just of the M6, they have the booklets there with all the hotels featured although the detail in the booklets is pants these days, no doubt due to the internet as all the detail is on the website.
The one at Dunkerque was well overdue for a facelift when we used it in August 2012 and not over clean either. I wouldn't use that one again but the prices could tempt me to use one of the New Generation hotels. Unlike Hotel B&B the have not used the refurb as an excuse for huge price hikes.

Hi legenetay.
There are 3 Premiere Classe Hotels at Dunkerque, we always use the furthest one South at Armbouts Cappel.
It is just 13 miles from the ferry port, and although the most expensive of the 3, it is probably the best with a very nice Campanile Hotel/Restaurant in the same grounds.
We are there at the start and end of our July 3 week hols to the South East of France, and the cost has averaged out at £41 per night at Dunkerque, which is good value in my opinion.
we also use the Premiere Classe every time we have done an overnighter, we have used all three of their Orleans hotel on our way to Spain as it's about half way for us. It's so nice getting there, sorting dinner, having a shower and relaxing with a bit of wifi or tv before bed. This year we only paid 16 euros on the way there and 26 euros on the way back, best price I've ever got
