Hi we are taking our TT to France next Year.Very excited as its our First Time abroad with it. We have booked the Ferry to Dunkirk and will be Heading to Paris for a few days then on to Vendee. With 2 youngsters I am looking for an overnight stop near Dunkirk( dont want to have to pitch for a night too much Hassle) but am worried about our TT as we store items on top of it.
Can anyone recommend a Hotel near/close to Dunkirk with secure parking ??

I know Francais, who posts on here, stays at the Premiere Classe hotel near Dunkerque, and he has a very 'state of the art' trailer so wouldn't stay anywhere without secure parking.
Yep, Val is spot on that I am very careful were I leave my Trailer, we always use "Premiere Classe" budget hotels, there are 3 of them at Dunkerque, and we use the one at Armbouts Cappell which is just 13 miles South of Dunkerque ferry port.
We choose that one because it is away from the main town centre and has a Campanile Restaurant in the same grounds, so you get more choice for breakfast and if you choose to have an evening meal in the Campanile restaurant you get 15% of the entire meal.
Also the parking is about as secure as it gets, and parking the trailer is easy as it can be left hitched to the car, which means the car alarm will sound if the trailer is removed from the car.
I would avoid the Premiere Classe and Campanile closest to the ferry terminal at Loon Plage. They share the same car park and it doesn't have a rolling gate or barrier. You drive straight into it from a mini roundabout. However the Kyriad opposite does have a rolling gate that is closed from 9pm to 7am. The reception is manned around the clock and they are happy to lock bikes and other bulky equipment in their conference room on the ground floor

Hi Trinny.
If you do book the "Premiere Classe" at Armbouts Cappel you will be ok with the 1 room if there are 4 of you, we have seen plenty of familes emerge from a room with more that 3 folk, in fact one time we counted 5 folk, 2 adults and 3 kids!.
Don't bother with the "Campanile Hotel" unless you get a special deal, the extra £30 for the room is not worth it over the "Premiere Classe"
Our 2 nights at the "Premiere Classe" Armbouts Cappel have averaged out at £41 each for July which is still good value imho.
Hi Barab.
You can make it as cheap as you like, but we like to get to the hotels for no later than 6pm then have an aperitif in the Campanile bar before having a slap up meal in the Campanile restaurant, although we order for 1 and share, all washed down with a bottle of vin rouge.
Of course doing the above does add £25 to the overnight stay, but we are on holiday and it is all part of the fun.
