We are beginning to think that storing over there is cheaper, more convenient and easier than here....we seldom caravan in UK these days ..we can see there is are a lot of storage on the Costas but can't see anything that still gives you the freedom when you reach Spain..

Has anyone any experience of this option?

We store near angers in France for 185 euros a year .... saves a lot 9time, ferry, towing etc).
If you look here you'll see some sites that claim to store caravans ... I have no idea whether indoors or outdoors ... you'd probably have to e-mail them and ask ... or they will suggest options.

We store our van at Camping Beau Rivage, Navarrenx, about 4 hours from Santander, so dont know if this is too far for you. Beautiful site run very efficiently by lovely British couple and last year paid about 360 euros a year for covered storage. Mind you, they are getting very popular, so may not have any spaces left, if you are interested you could send them an email.
