we are looking to go camping either in southern Brittany or the north of Pays De La Loir for two weeks we have been a few times but we have always had holiday homes, our two boys are now older and we want to try some thing different with them (yes i know im brave).
Is there any of you guys out there who have been camping in the areas and can recommend a good camp site, we are looking for some where near a beach the ages of our boys are 5 and 6 so a pool would be good but not essential, i know i can go to web sites and read reviews but i would rather here it from the horses mouth as to say.
anything would be greatly appreciated
many thanks Mark

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Pornic is absolutely beautiful, there are loads of campsites round about. The town is very pretty & the beaches/coves are superb. We had a walk round only yesterday & even in autumn it's magical.
Look for a Camping Municipal, a local council site that is. They are absolutely amazing, clean and really cheap. Try www.camping-municipal.org to find one
