If you are thinking about the CC 12 o clock rule it does n't apply at Le Brev. Most people tell Raph ( the owner ) and he will find you a spot by the entrance you can use till you are ready to leave. The route in and out of Le Havre is a dual carriageway to and from the docks, stray off that with a caravan into the town, and its hassle, esp with the locals (76 plates) who are not the most courteous drivers.
Comments re Touques and Honfleur are valid but best done without the caravan chasing you, esp Touques which has very narrow streets. The auberge is excellent but check the price of the menus, it is not cheap but worth the price.
Best to stay on Brev, have a last swim, lunch in the cafe, say cheerio to the ever smiling delightful Laura, and push off about 2.30 pm , just in case the Pont Normandie is busy if it is a Saturday.
Have fun.
