Can anyone recommend a municipal site near to Barcelonette within walking distance of a supermarket....thank you

It's not a municipal site (is there one in fact?) but Camping du Plan is a similar sort of low key , reasonably priced site. An easy walk into town, but I can't remember where the supermarkets are.

I think you are right ! I just don`t like driving once I am set up...I just walk daily to the supermarket...I am a keen road cyclist and that is what I go there to do...MAD I know...

We camped here a few years ago ... I think it's the closest campsite to Barcelonnette ... but not a municipal.
We liked the site ... and it ran its own rafting depot.
Great area and lovely small town.
