We're a couple in our 40s thinking about camping abroad this year and quite like the idea of going to the Black Forest.
Has anyone got recommendations for a quiet campsite, ideally an adult site or one that is not likely to be overrun with kids?
We also fancy a location which is handy for walks and crucially within walking distance of a local attractive town which has places to drink and eat.
We plan to drive across with a tent and the usual stuff, but may change our minds if there's good offers on any wigwam type accommodation or similar.
Also when is a good time weather wise? Despite last years summer, we were unlucky enough to pick the wrong weeks to camp in Devon. Hence, a better chance of decent weather is another thing that is tempting us to go abroad this year.

Recommend Camping Munstertal, great location and facilities. We were there end of August, beginning of September, good weather. Can walk or train to Staufen. Very few tents on site, mainly caravans and motorhomes. Was virtually full for all of our 2 week stay but not over crowded.
