Exessexmum is right - we had several lovely holidays at Le Boucanet, and their beachside pitches were lovely.  Then the site filled those pitches with 'cabins' and mobile homes, as they did with the larger pitches around the site.  This meant that the remaining pitches seemed cramped, and often there really wasn't enough room  to get the car on properly.  In turn this led to cars being parked half on the pitch and half on the road.  This caused the roads to be cramped and difficult to get through - so the site just lost quite a lot of its attraction for us.

I doubt things have improved as once campsites fill with mobile homes it changes the atmosphere of the site.

We've been back to Camping Le Neptune lots of times since then, and whilst it's a very different site to Le Boucanet we like it a lot.  However, we go out of season - in May/June or late August/September.  Whether it would be lively enough for a fifteen year old, I'm not sure, but  those with families may be able to answer that better than me.
