Yes, we've been three times.  The site has some good points - the pools (your boys will love them), the restaurant which does good value meals, the private bathrooms on the pitches, the bread shop, the takeaway - and some bad ones - road noise on some pitches, gravel surface to some of the pitches which makes them  difficult for tents, and for us too much shade on some of the pitches.  We've had a variety of pitches - one good one with a grass surface, near the entrance, another great one directly adjacent to the pool, featured in one of the pictures on the Camping Cheque page, and a third in a row in the main part of the site.  We really didn't like the third pitch, which was very shady, and haven't been back since.

We had a private bathroom the last time- but they're very large wooden structures, which take up a lot of space on some pitches and that year we couldn't fit our awning on the pitch so bought a gazebo instead.  The private bathrooms have a shower, toilet, washbasin, and an outside area for washing up.  You are responsible for cleaning them yourselves.

We had no problems with queues when using the site facilities, on our other visits  but we were always there in low season when the site wasn't crowded.  Both the blocks we used were fine - a bit dated, but kept clean - though I've seen complaints about the sanitary facilities in high season on other forums.

The site staff were very helpful, but beware that reception may be closed for a couple of hours around lunchtime (common on French sites).   There is a really good SuperU supermarket very near to the site, with cheap fuel, a great boulangerie in the 'mall' and the restaurant brasserie does very good value meals.  There is also a Lidl in the other direction - and their 'Poulet de Fermier' are very good.  It's within (longish) walking distance of the beach - and there are lots of different beaches to choose from.  There are good twice weekly markets in Agde itself, and at Grau d'Agde there is a small market every day in high season.  You can cycle or walk from the site into the town of Agde - and watch the boats negotiating the locks on the Canal du Midi.

There are lots of reviews on the Camping Cheque website, and the site seems to score well - and if you can go later in August Champs Blanc accepts Camping Cheques and does seven nights for six Camping Cheques.

We visit the Agde area a lot - we now choose to stay on Camping Neptune - as we have friends with a house in France, who like to come down and stay with us there.  Any more questions just ask.

I think Val has covered it all, in fact we went a few years ago based on Val A's advice. We also stayed on a private sanitary pitch, I loved the convenience of not having to go the blocks. Our setup is a trailer tent, which we struggled to peg down, a very nice German bloke came to our rescue with hardcore pegs. The pitch wasn't to bad after we removed some larger stones. The swimming pools are nice, my son loved them, a couple of tiles were missing which I unfortunately grazed my knee on. But this was three summers ago. Overall it's kept nice, and the pitches are well defined and as private as you're going to get. The on site shop is pretty poor but the Super U is very close. Overall we liked it, we'd happily return.
