If you are heading for the A28 to Le Mans stay on the A29 until Yvetot and then follow the signs for "pont de Brotonne". Brings you out at the A28 junction with the A13. Nice easy route

Ken

Just spent a not-inconsiderable amount of time on Google maps looking at this route......that looks like the way we'll be going!

Thanks for that

Regards

Glyn

Hello again, sorry I did not report back sooner.
I intended to do the way I posted below but missed the A29 turn off so did Val's route going down which was fine.
I did the reverse of the route below on the way back which was a bit easier when towing. All motorway for a few Euros?

A28 - A29 - A151 - A150 - N1338 - N338 - A139 - A13.
That route might be slightly longer with small bit of toll but almost all motorway.
All the best,
Fred.

Satnav sent us back that way recently. Stopped off in Caudebec-en-Caux for lunch, watching the barges going up-river on the Seine; and refuelled (Leclerc filling station far side of the town).

There's about a 10-mile stretch of two-lane, but makes a pleasant break from autoroute.
