There is another update to Archie's POI's for 30,000 campsites in Europe, downloadable for most types of SatNav. Website here: http://www.archiescampings.eu/eng1/. This time Archie has made the following comments:
As usual, sites added and removed.
The first 10,000 sites checked, even more precise positions added if possible
There is to be a ‘Small Sites’ (less than 50 pitches) category, which I am hoping to finish in about a year.
Already tried to recognize the site of the month? Please send feedback if you have comments!

It depends which model of TomTom you have. As far as downloading is concerned I save the zip files to the desktop, them unpacked them, dragging the database file and small image file to the desktop. I do this as its an easy place to find them further through the process. Depending on how old your TomTom is you will need to download some software from TomTom. Newer models require My TomTom. Older models can be connected direct to your computer and the files mentioned above just dragged into the map folder. If you let me know how far you can get along the process I may be able to help you further.

If it's my drive, couple up unit to pc, open my drive, click add community content. Click add POI, browse PC till you find the files which you have previously unzipped. Click on them then click install, Viola.

Thanks for the helpful advice. I help Archie with his translations, and I'm afraid we're not SatNav users, so I can't help with the technical aspects. I know he's a very nice man, and very helpful, so if anyone has any questions they can't resolve just let me know and I'll ask him directly.
