Hi all
Got the opportunity to spend 6 months(ish) in France this year. My insurance is due for renewal soon but will only give 180 days cover, I need a minimum of 200 days (possibly a few more) depending on when we decide to come home. Had a few ridiculous quotes for insurance on the Navara double cab which we use to tow our caravan, anybody know of an insurance company that will give a sensible quote. Even CC+C cant cover this as their insurers don't offer cover for pickups.

Try saga as I think they have unlimited cover but am not certain.

Kelper I don't think it's breakdown the OP is looking for, I think it's insurance.

For the OP, I think More Than do unlimited European cover.

Brittania, now Co-operative Insurance, only have a maximum of 90 day cover in any one trip.

Thanks for the replies, looks like I'm going to spend the next few hours(days)searching the web, Must admit hadn't tried SAGA or NFU. Looks like I didn't make it clear I'm looking foe vehicle insurance not breakdown

If your over 50 then go for Saga, I've never found it expensive & at renewal time I shop around for a lower quote & Saga always price match so I stay with them. Their vehicle insurance includes fully comp in Europe all year with no time limit on trip.
