Just wondering if anyone can recommend an insurer who does an annual travel policy who will cover more than 31 days but will also cover indirect loss - ie cover things which arise from DIY hols, like arranging transport, accommodation etc separately. Most policies only cover packages apparently.
Thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
If you asked my 6 year old he would probably say I was wrinkly, but I think we may have 20 years or so before we can be official!
It's the 'indirect loss' thing that seems to be complicating things. Many policies will only cover package holidays but I've found some that are suitable - PJ Hayman and Staysure among others for anyone needing similar cover.
As far as ATOL are concerned a package holiday is one where you have 'bought' two or more components of your trip from the same supplier.
If you could do that then the Insurers would have to accept that you have 'bought' a package.
