Hi Guys, first of all let me explain a bit about what Im trying to do.

We (The wife) purchased a caravan last year (Abbey GTS418), we have been out and had loads of fun last year.

This year Im planning a surprise trip to France to visit Eurodisney, Astrisk etc.

I have chosen International De Jablines as my main stay, and my plan is to drive from Gloucester to folkstone, get the ferry accross, and then stop at a site on the other side till the next day.

What Im after is a park that is nice for the stop over.. So im looking for ideas of where to stay, as we will want to stay in one place on the way there and one place on the way back.

Plus any other info that you think might help !

TIA

Jez

Bit concerned about the drive to Folkestone for the ferry, it's Eurotunnel only from Folkestone and ferries from Dover!!
We like the site at Peuplingues for an overnight stop near Calais, it isn't an all singing all dancing, just easy to find and sheltered with nice facilities. Quite cheap too.

You could stay at Chateau du Gandspette which is near to the ferry ports - both Dunkerque and Calais.  In high season, though, it's expensive for just one night, but does have pools, a good bar and restaurant, and good sanitary facilities.  We often spend our last night there, before returning home.  If you're going outside peak season, even in school holidays (any time up to 4th July and then after 31st August) then the sites takes Camping Cheques (not worth buying just one, though - unless someone is kind enough offer you one cheap).

Lots of reviews on here and on the Camping Cheques website
