Just noticed that LD Lines have changed ships on their Portsmouth Le Havre route from the Norman Voyager to the Seven Sisters.
Cant be a bad thing as the Norman Voyager was a terrible tub.

The Seven Sisters was used on the Dieppe / Newhaven route. It always seemed fine to me, but I must admit I'm not really bothered about ferry facilities, so long as there's a decent seat available.
We're with Brittany this year and they pride themselves on having the best facilities around, partly to justify the higher costs. I hope to be snoring for most of the crossing.

Brittany Ferries are claiming Stormin Norman from the end of this month, according to the sage that is Wikipedia

They are welcome to it. Its a very dated old tub, with a duty free the size of my toilet!

Learnt something there. Did n't know the Britt Ferries " no frills" was the Voyager when they said it was ex Stenna. Even a ton of Brittany " "magic dust" won't make that ship for me , and the prospect of all the way to Santander? No thanks. It's a freighter.
Can't help but think BF have got that one wrong, ------and Etretat is such a nice place.
