Wonder what advice you could give us re. journey from Playa Montroig nr Cambrils Spain to Camping Natura Argeles Gazost. France in mid June.

Last June we had a dreadful experience doing the same trip days after the aftermath of the flooding in the Arran Valley and eventually had to turn back at Bossost as border crossing closed. Felt a bit stupid as didn't check weather.. Won't do that again ... ever ... and we would be extremely unlucky to experience those conditions again but you never know. Anyway what advice can anyone give us... Looking at going further along and taking Somport entry? Caravan Club says ok but frankly bit nervous after last years events!

Look forward to words of wisdom and any suggestions

Somport tunnel route is fine, we use it summer and winter, maximum altitude is about 1100 metres I think. Its used by HGVs, on the french side there are the occasional narrow stretch where you may have to give way to a HGV coming the other way.
