Hi All, we r on an overnight crossing this Thursday from Plymouth to Roscoff. This is the first time we have ever taken our pups with us + I am starting to fuss + panic. We have done this crossing a million times but I just cannot think of anywhere near to the port where we can stop for them to have a quick toilet break. We r towing a large caravan but don't want to use the car park at the top unless we have too but would rather a layby where we can stop with the van. Any help would be brilliant

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
As you leave Roscoff towards Morlaix go left at the double decker bus that's been parked for years, and into St Pol de Leon. There's a big car park on your right at the top of the town where we always park and go for lunch, but you you could have coffee and croissants in a bar, the dogs could stretch their legs, and when the supermarket is open you can buy beer, wine and groceries. When you leave retrace your steps rather than drive through the town.
We tend to head out on the Brest road a couple of miles out there is an industrial estate with a large supermarket Le Clerk I think amongst others with plenty of parking and room to walk the dogs.

if you head out to the area I suggested there is a roundabout called rond point de kergluer (not sure of the name) if you take the D10 exit there is a layby with a picnic table just off the roundabout.

Hi,
Thank you all for your replies. We will probably try the layby Saxo says about above.
We have been holidaying in France for years - I think I am just worrying as this is the first time we are taking our 2 Chihuahua pups with us.
Cheers
