We Booked ferry crossing in January (travel in July) along with our camping friends and booked cabins outgoing for an overnight crossing only to receive an e mail yesterday informing us that they can no longer offer a cabin due to boat changes!
Offered a seat or alternative crossing from Newhaven - Dieppe (which would mean less than 4 hours sleep) before having to drive onto campsite in the early hours of the morning.
Spoke to customer services about how this has come about and what is the critera for allocation and was told that people who booked earlier than us, have small children or disabled passengers take priority. Needless to say we shall never sail with this disgraceful company ever again ! Feel they have taken our booking under false pretences and I will make sure as many people hear about this shoddy treatment.
Be warned if you use this Company :(
