Hi all,

I'm after some advice again please.

We'll be caravanning in France for the first time this year so I'm hoping for some suggestions please. 2 adults (early 30s), 2 dogs, no kids. We'll be there 24th Aug - 7th Sep.

Essentials are;

2-3hours maximum from Le Havre

Dogs allowed.

Nice walks nearby with somewhere for dogs to swim & cool off

EHU.

Good sized piches (as we put up rigid windbreaks to create 'garden' for the dogs).

Walking distance to local village/town would be nice but not essential. 

Other than that we're easy!

Can anyone suggest anywhere please?

Hi there, we can recommend a nice little Municipal  at Saint Aubin du Cormier, which has 40 sites with electricity and good facilities.

It is next to the A84 motorway just north of Rennes.  It is on a lake, close to the village and the sites are on a slope looking down.  It is manned by the local council on an odd basis, so there isnt always anybody there to book you in.  You just arrive and set up and when somebody arrives, or when you leave, you tell them all about it.  Very relaxed and pleasant site.
