Hi Folks, We are looking for a campsite near Arnhem for a week in July.  ALready have our second week at Duinrell booked so looking for a medium sized site with swimming, something to keep the kids busy but not as full on as Duinrell. Anyone tried Heumen Bos?

Any advice greatly appreciated :-)

Hi,

we went there end of October 2012 - lovely little site! Obviously rather quiet due to time of year, but lots of secluded as well as open areas so you can take your pick as to your preferred type of camping. There was a small restaurant and shop on site but closed for us in the off-season.

The pool looked okay but obviously closed when we were there. Easy access to Arnhem and Nijmegen, as well as Germany if you fancy it.

We are hoping to go back during one summer - recommended.

Look at Camping Warnsborn on the edge of Forest just outside of Oosterbeek very near to Arnhem Excellent site not expensive Family run.

We were at Zoompark De Zanding last year. No pool but has a swimming lake which the children seemed to be enjoying.
