I asked recently about staying at Amiaux but sadly this is fully booked for when we are looking to stay. La Yole however is available so I'm interested to know what others thought of the site? I've heard it's quite a noisy site with animations going on until the early hours, is this the case? Are the toilets & showers split or unisex? How far is the nearest supermarket as I've read the local shops can be very expensive? Thanks in advance for your help.

After staying at Amiaux we moved onto Rcn Camping La Ferme Du Latois, just a bit inland. It was beautiful. Lots for the kids to do. Pool, fishing lake, cycle rides, daily 'animations'. It is a Dutch run site. The toilet blocks were the best I have ever visited. There was a small restaurant. It was quiet in the evening. Friends who were satying at La Yole came to visit us for the day, and ended up staying!
