hi all we are going over to france this summer for our holiday we are heading for le mans for our stop over which  shoud be nice for a stop over

we have been told its best/ cheaper to get our fuel once we are in france which i am ok with even more so if its cheaper but were is the closest petrol  station once we get off the boat in calais

We also used the Intermarche in Calais in June when we were last coming home via Calais.  It's on Avenue Roger Salengro which is easy enough to find as you come out of the port or if you're staying overnight in Calais (for those in hotels).  We didn't have the caravan on the back though, but it's possible to have a look at fuel stations on Google Street View to see how easy you think it looks to get in and out. 

You can use the website mentioned to search for fuel in a particular town and it's worth doing as you can save a significant amount by choosing one fuel station over another.  At the moment if you fill up in the SuperU in Agde you'll pay 1.293.  If you use the independent service station you'll pay 1.40.
