Hi, hoping someone can suggest an aire on the A16/E420 where we can easily meet up with family if we get separated after leaving the ferry in Calais. We are towing our caravan, my son has just his car and friends have a MPV with a roof box so we'll be on different decks and leaving the ferry at different times.

Aire de Baie de Somme is a nice place to wait around. Has good facilities and a rest area for vans. It's a bit down the way, near Abbeville.

The aire de deux caps isn't so far out of Calais, its only about 20 km along the road, just past junction 37.

I'd second either of those, but with children the Aire de la Baie de Somme is better - it has walkways over canals full of huge fish, and a children's play area, plus a bird-watching tower you can climb up and look out over the marshes.
