We're in Dordogne at mo near Sarlat and weather although warm is quite wet and thundery. Not sure if its our valley as when we go out its better. I am surprised that it hasn't been sunnier as it was better in Loire where we came from.
Weather is a little strange this year; currently in Spain on Costa Brava, first 2 evenings we had thunder storms and it was overcast during the day, yesterday was sunny and 28 degrees (a couple of degrees lower than usual). Nights are chilly. Today, sky is blue, so lets hope for good weather - forecast is mixed.
There is a British couple on the site, in a motor home, who came to Spain because the weather in France was so bad
We started out at Creches sur Saone just north of Lyon on 24th July, had 4 days of sun then 2 days of constant rain so packed up and headed south of Perpignan. Reasonably sunny weather since, had a day out to Spain (Calella de Palafrugell) on Sunday, which was gorgeous!
We are in saint etienne at the moment and are going to move on Wednesday, just not sure where to go! The weather seems bad almost everywhere on Friday,Saturday or Sunday . Any ideas? We were thinking our only chance of decent weather is the very far south of France, which is do-able, but having been in Provence a couple of weeks ago I would love somewhere a bit different.
What is the weather doing in the Vaucluse, is there anyone nearby ....we're not there for another 2 weeks but it would be good to know
Meteo France is always an option.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We're just south of Paris and it's been great here.
But we're heading back up to Calais at the end of the week to get the tunnel home on Saturday. Looks like we're going to have to do a wet pack up as there's nowhere within 2 hours that looks like it'll be dry on Saturday morning.
We've pencilled in a couple of nights at either Neufchatel-en-Bray or Feuillères, but we'll stay where we are for as long as possible if the weather holds out.
You probably have your last night sorted, but we found this a few years ago and it is about 2 hours from the port/ chunnel. Its in a village caled Guignicourt.
Its many years since we were south of Paris, we tend to go much further a field chasing the better weather and of course the vines.

There is a tropical storm coming Europe ways in Bertha this weekend which may be reason for unsettled weather at weekend. usually once that passes things may return to normal?
