Well, we were provided with a hired minibus (9 seater) when our car broke down near Vierzon. It was the only thing which would take five people and four bikes! We used it for two weeks, and then returned it when we picked the car up.
First 'google' in English, took me 10 seconds to come up with a nine seater minibus to pick up at Clermont Ferrand airport - but a whopping £1,132 per week's hire!
Googling in French comes up with more options (Location de minibus, 9 place, or Louer minibus 9 place) and a more reasonable scale of prices but obviously these depend on exact dates, driver age, kilometres required, etc. Try http://www.fordrent.fr/
