We use Buffalo Grill, the one at Chartres as a land mark to turn right to go to Blois

We have used BG many times without finding fault and quite reasonably priced. We also like Restaurant Crocodile where drinks are included.....Crocodile
not many of them about though. IMHO a must visit if close to Lille on the way home.
Just seen they now have an outlet at Dunkerque nr Auchan and one nr Boulogne.

weve used bg several times maybe slightly overpriced, not by much though,95% happy with all meals so far including one at Dunkirk when camping at the ferry port car park on our return this year

Big towns like Chartres usually have them all within a couple of minutes, Courtepaille, Buffalo Grill, KFC, McDs, Hippopotamus.
We find them easy to use after a long drive, I would prefer a proper restaurant but that's too much faff at that point in the evening.

Our absolute favourite French eatery chain is Flunch, I can eat my own weight in frites with pepper sauce alone. I like most of the eateries attached to supermarkets to honest.
