We have stayed at La Garangeoire in St.Julien des Landes few times in mobile home but next year we will be taking our touring caravan for the first time.
I am wondering which row of pitches to request on booking form. I can look at the pitch map on their website but can't really remember the touring pitches in terms of sun/shade etc. Also it is 2 years since we were there so not sure where safari tents etc are pitched now.

Ideally we would like a pitch with drainage and water, evening sun for al fresco dining and not on top of toilets etc. Also don't want to be at bottom end as we noticed this can be a bit empty when site not full. Our children will be 8 & 9 so nice to be in the middle of it all!

Any suggestions for best location much appreciated.

Hi

We stayed on a pitch in the Pigeons area. Water and drainage on pitch and well located for being away from the facilities but close enough to walk to. Lovely pitch hedged all round and quiet.

thanks

Try the following pitches.
Grebes, Grues or Grives. These three get some morning and evening sunshine. During the day the back of the pitch is in shade and the front is sunny. This was in July/August.
