If you want easy access to the beach just 500 yards away, and want to be within easy reach of Monaco, Nice, Antibes and Cannes, have a look at Camping de Logis la Brague. I first went there as a toddler, with my parents back in 1962 and have been back there many times since, even our Son now 29 went there on his own back in 2009. These days we prefer the quiet life, so go further along the coast to Frejus, which was suprisingly quiet for the middle two weeks of July this year. Train station, directly across the road from the campsite, great if you like trains. unfortunatley they no longer do the "Carte Issabelle" which was like a day rover ticket for the train, just 12€ and it lasted 24 hours, and anyone could buy it. Now they have introduced the ZOO Card, still like a day rover at just 15€ but you have to provide photos for the card, which takes them a day to sort out, so best to get that sorted on your first day. Even though these photos were taken second week in July just gone, the was not crazy busy. Tarrifs reasonable for the area. If you missing your English, don't worry La Brague can help!
