We tend not to use a wind break in France, although we did last year in Annecy, as the itches in Le Solitaire were tiny and tere was littel privac. The people next to us used tojust star over from the elevated position of their caravan nd I wanted to sunbathe with no top on!!!! Pitches are generally very spacious and have clear divisions with hedgreows. If we are using just one tent and we happen to be in an exposed poition say near the facilities blck we would use it. But in general we don't use one. My OH goes mad because I always pack one just in case. I say one beacuse we ahve a green one for the green tent and a mocha one for the beige/ black tents And everything MUST match.
