It's the route we usually use, and when the bridge closed I shared it with others, so it's become known as Val's route! Basically it's best for those heading south via Rouen, so you stick to the left bank of the Seine, through Pont de L'Arche as described by Ludovine. It may no longer be necessary, but we still like it, and for those wanting a stopover in that area the campsite in Pont de l'Arche is a very convenient one.
As said there is cheap fuel both at the Esso on the entrance to Igoville, and at the SuperU there - but beware at weekends, in the Esso station, cards (French as well as English) are often rejected. It happened to us three weeks ago - and to two French mean who tried the pumps at the same time. They said it was 'too much people' using it at the weekend!
For anyone wanting the route, to try it, email me on valdaathome(at)gmail.com
