We have stayed on this site a number of times, we always took a Premium Plus pitch by the beach on area D.
The facilities are excellent and with 3 x teenage children they were never short of anything to do. As you mentioned, the cost is high but in my opinion its worth it...
Hi, also stayed there , we stayed with eurocamp in mobile home, however the touring caravan/ tent premium pitches beachside are the whole reason we decided to purchase a touring caravan - I WILL once I've got a caravan be back whatever the cost. Fab site, beach and location. X

We stayed in 2011 in a Eurocamp mobile and it was this site that planted the seed for us to get our own tourer (which we did within 6 weeks of returning).
The pitches seemed to be in two areas, one at the front of the site and the other at the back of the site (the back being where the beach is and the front being where the entrance is). The area at the front is quite heavily shaded by trees but the area at the back seemed to be a bit more open and light.
The shower facilities were lovely and cleaned regularly. The restaurant and bar was brand new when we were there. They also had a supermarket, butcher and boulangerie on site.
There isn't much within walking distance but a short drive takes you to the resort of Cambrils with loads of restaurants and shops. There is a large supermarket about a 5 minute drive away in the village for stocking up.
I should have said that Playa Montroig takes the ACSI Card between the following dates: 04/04 - 19/06 and again from 31/08 - 26/10 at just 16 euros per night, so if you're going outside peak season it's definitely worth buying the card as you'll save at least seven euros per night. With the ACSI Card they offer reductions in that you pay for 21=20, 30=27, 45=36.
