A Camping Cheque site too, up until early July and then again from September, so really good value outside peak season. Nice restaurant too - and a lovely owner!
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Really good stop over from all angles....we always stay here if the route suits.

Just arrived back from there. They are going in ACSI next year apparently.
That's interesting as I thought they were part of the Kawen Group who run Camping Cheques. Perhaps they feel they will be better off with ACSI rather than Camping Cheques.
Echo everything said before about this site,we have stayed there lots of times, really helpful owner & staff, good pitches and toilet facilities;very good restaurant, and as said before, very handy for ferries,Calais or Dunkerque.
John.
We were there in July and we tried with ACSI but he said they were just ACSI inspected not on the discount scheme but he gave us a discounted rate anyway of about 19 euro
Yes, and aren't they tame - they just stay there when you walk through them. The babies are lovely, too, but I wonder how much damage they do to the pitches?
Being rufty tufty campers, we usually 'pitch' in the field just beyond the facilities block, and just behind those wooden chalet things......we are generally greeted by chickens that sleep in the hedgerow next to the open fields!!!!
Perhaps we will come back that way next year if we go to Lacanau Lac (le Tedey of course). Verdict still out on where to go, I may get my way and go to Italy..travel time wise its about the same to the Dolomites as Southern Provence.
