Not sure if I posted under correct heading so reposting here.
Has anyone ever attended the France show in January at Olympia London.
Been browsing internet and fancy a day out to get in holiday feeling.
Is it worth the day out regards time and cost.
Is it relevant to the tourist holiday maker, or more targeted to those a wishing to move out to france more permanently.
Regards
Milly
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We went a couple of years ago. It was at Earls Court and didn't even fill the whole first floor balcony.
Divided into two sections, the residential holiday home sales and 'miscellaneous' holidays/food/travel/gadgets etc. To be honest we were a little disappointed having been to the NEC in October a year or two earlier but we got free tickets so only paid the train fare.
If you want a whole day out I think you will be hard pushed to fill it but if you plan a second activity in reserve, then you won't have travelled for nothing if it's disappointing.
There are lots of free tickets around - we receive an offer of them each year, but have never taken them up. I've heard from others that it was disappointing.
Thanks for you replies. Doesn't sound very positive. Think we will give it a miss. Was hoping for a 'mini France' day out.
Will prob just go to caravan and camping show in February instead.

Hi Milly.
Even though I am a Tent camper, of the two shows at the NEC I have always found the October show to be the most interesting.
Of course no Tents at the October show, but even the a Tent display at the February show has been mediocre, and pretty much just an advert for Yeomens, and the February show has always had a bias towards caravans.
