A pool complex with slides, yes - somewhere like L'Oree du Bois at Les Mathes. And plain pools at lots of places.
Direct beach access, yes - sites at Chatelaillon Plage (though not the best plage in the world.)
But a site on that stretch of coast with waterslide pools AND beach access? I can't think of any that we know ourselves. Perhaps somewhere on the Ile de Re ?
Have a look on the ACSI Card website - click on France, then the Charente Maritime region, then select 'Beach' and whatever sort of pool you want, in the advanced search section, then click on the map.
Depending on your browser you may have to click only once (my OH's laptop) or several times, before the tent symbols appear and you can see those nearest the towns and villages you want to visit.
Loree du bois has a great pool complex but you have to cycle (road) or drive (easy) to the beach. The site is lovely but not quiet as very near to the funfair.
Across the water to Ile Doleron, is perfect for beach access by bike, but you tend not to get water parks.
It is a great area though and i will definitely return one day, see my reviews
