I have my caravan in storage in St Malo, France at the moment and I want to have it moved to Girona Spain. Can anyone recommend any transport companies?
Many Thanks

If you don't get recommendations from someone who has used the service then just Googling brings up lots of companies who offer transport throughout Europe.

Thanks blueexpo. We could certainly do that for you but as we are based near Alicante there would be a lot of dead miles, so may not be that cost effective. Having said that, a UK based company would need a lot of time and costly ferry crossings so may not be that bad... Please contact me if you would like a quote www.monstermoovers.com

The op would help himself by stating if caravan was roadworthy to tow or whether he needed transport by truck which would be a rather more expensive option.
Hi, thanks for responses so far.......yes the caravan is road worthy, was serviced in August and I towed myself across from England late August.
It just seemed more cost effective to store it France as that's where we holiday however we want a hotter climate so Spain it is. I just now need to get the caravan down to the Costa Brava.
How much do you estimate it would cost? Do you have any ideas? Might it not be better to leave it where it is until you can tow it down there yourselves? There used to be a website which you could use to get a 'basic' quote, but I can't find it. However, L F Nicholls look like they will transport your caravan on the back of a lorry, which might be better than having it towed down there. I don't imagine it comes cheap though.

Marlboroughmotors.com have a website which includes caravan transport to Spain and will no doubt give you a price.
The easiest way to take it yourself is the Monday Brittany Ferries sailing from UK to Spain which calls and picks up at Roscoff just that once in a week.
There's a ferry from St Nazaire to Girona, operated by LD Lines. It's currently suspended, whilst negotiations continue ... but there's a good chance it will operate in the summer.
Check the website from time to time for updates: here
Sorry, just reading through the replies. I would estimate to put the caravan on the back of a UK truck to deliver to Spain would cost several £000s.
Re the suspended ferry from St Nazaire to Girona, this service is actually St Nazaire to Gíjon, which is about the same distance from Girona as St Malo.....
The actual cost, to take the caravan to Costa Blanca or Costa Brava as quoted is €2000 (about £1500)
