Thanks Val will have a look later. Think we will end up somewhere literally on the beach (sea beach not lake beach) like Camping Panorama du Pyla or a couple up nearer Royan

Le Tedey has a facebook page with lots of visitor photos and there is a camping streetview video which I think may be on their own website. Won't link it as most likely will be removed.
Very envious as I would really like to try here but the lack of pool is stopping that happening for our lot (boo!)

We absolutely loved le teday and did loads of cycling every day. You can cycle into local village.where.the lake.beach is.bigger or up to the next lake which has an even better beach and shops and restaurants too think it's called Maubuisson or something like that. There is also a.site at lacanau with pool and play area, we cycled past it a few times although not in as pretty location as let teday. J x

Sunshine tours, why must you have a pool? There is so much to do on the lake and plenty of water for all!! A pool gets so busy! Even 60+ 's like us had a fantastic time messing about on the lake in a canoe or swimming/paddling. We were there in the low season but in high season there would be lots going on for children and the beach is so pretty. I hope to persuade OH to return! Give it a try!

I don't, but the family does, as irrational dislike of lake swimming (not just my family it turns out)!
I personally think we would all have a great holiday at Le Tedey but bottom line is everyone has to agree! Shame as its also quite reasonable in peak season compared to other all singing and dancing sites along that coast

Yes, well, at 60 euros for two people in high season it jolly well should be stupendous!
A day and a half there would get you a week in many municipals of good quality!

Yes I priced that one for us in July and quickly moved on as was over €70 a night! It does look great though I would agree and is billed as 5* so should have all facilities
