Has anyone stayed here??

We are planning a trip at Whitsun, and are looking for a site fairly close to Dieppe. Ideally we want a covered pool and nice play area, but we don't tend to like the bigger sites - appreciate those are the ones which have the pools! A nice town nearby and beach for the little ones would be good.

Can anyone recommend any other sites??

Did look at one near Granville? Not sure if that is a nicer area for the drive over?

Is this the camp site in Houlgate? If so, we had a great time in August last year. We stayed in a Eurocamp Caravan which wasn't great. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, but boys/men must wear swim wear, no shorts allowed. My son loved visiting the town and speaking french to all the shopkeepers. The only downside was the weather. We only had two days of sunshine, but we still had a great time.

In the same area as La Vallee is Le Colombier where we have been a couple of times.

Had a very wet Whitsun week there last year and ground was pretty wet underfoot on pitches but the lovely Tv lounge (doesn't do it justice) with snug upstairs make s great meeting point and dry evening area.

Great owners and managers onsite and beautiful setting for the outdoor large pool that is well heated and fine for swimming even in May (just a bit chilly when you get out!)

No where will be that busy at Whitsun as will mainly be Brits camping so wouldn't worry about going on a larger all singing dancing site (Le Colombier is not like that anyway) as won't be in your face like summer
