Hi Christian
Doo you mean sites in Spain or sites on the way?
Firstly, whichever you mean, have a look at the ACSI Card website www.campingcard.co.uk - there are 1600 campsites in France. If you're going outside peak season then this will get you a discount and some , sites are just 10 euros per night! (Look under 12 euros). If you're going in peak season then have a look at the municipal campsites website - for sites within walking distance of towns and villages.
Secondly what sort of sites do you like? Do you want the sort where you may have no neighbours and be able to make a campfire, or a bar with pool, restaurant and bar. French sites are very different to British sites, particularly in low season, and some of the very biggest sites can actually be quite quiet. Recommendations from others will be better if they know what sort of site you're looking for.
Do's and don'ts - have a look at the post for Continental First Timers (above). It's probably overdue for editing now, as it's quite an old post, but it will give you a lot of helpful tips, and hints.

you could go to la torres del sol at Montroig ,it is the sister site of the one Billy posted,(also you can use that site for the odd day as well) and is at the same route through Andorra and down to Reus and Salou. This site has everything you want,it has its own beach, beach bar, pools ,jacusis, resturants, and you can use acsi card, which means it is cheaper out of season.look for my review on this site and cross ref with acsi site and its own web site.We are going there this year in April and will not return until end of June,we have a caravan and will be in a pitch right next to the sea(extra 4 euros a night but worth the extra)Plenty of space for tents, our daughters flew out to us one year and we took and pitched tent for them ,they had a wonderfull time.
Also plenty to do off site as Salou is about 16 k from site, also Tarragona and Montserrat is a must.Hope this helps, let me know if you need more info
