Hi All,

Can you advise what is the best way to get to LCDVP - Berny Riviere from the A1 (E15/19)?

I’ll be pulling a large 4x4 and twin axle caravan, just looking for the easiest route for manoeuvrability.

I guess some options are:

(Junction 10)

E46
E46, N31, E46

(from Junction 11)

D935, N1031, E46

Having never driven there before, any help appreciated.

We did it last year with a Twin Axle. A1 Jct 11 then D935 around Compiegne then N31/E46 very good road turn left in La Vache Noire at the lights over bridge follow road into Vic Sur Aisne
as you come up the hill pass the parking area to your right then just around the corner turn right then 100yds turn left at T junction turn left and La CDPV is about 1 mile on your right.

The other route would be to come down the main dual carriageway towards Soissons, turning left towards Vic. I'd be a bit wary about this as there is a tight left hand turn at a junction which would be a seriously tight fit. The roads around the villages are tight and have a lot of traffic management in the form of narrowed lanes and speed bumps.

Be carefull near Bernie rivière it's quite tight getting the van through the streets but the site is fantastic.
