Kind of on topic, yes, merchandise and food is expensive. We resorted to buying a couple of flasks and taking in hot drinks in cold weather. We always take our own food and drink in. Never had a problem. To be honest I expect most people that use this website would do the same as it is the camping way.

As for the shops, you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to. Just like football shirts as far as I am concerned.

Didn't think you could take food in with you? We are going at Easter and would make life cheaper if we could- can anyone advise please?

Yes you can take in your own food & drink ...also dotted around are water stands so you can fill up your own bottles.

There is also a bag storage goes on size. This is near to the right hand side entrance. We are a family of four & our cooler bag went as small about 6€ ( this was last easter ) or you can carry it around with you.

Comes under luggage storage..they take all size bags .

We did find it expensive, however there are a couple of work-arounds. We found vouchers for a cheap late lunch. Meant we only took drinks in.

We have been a few times, the cheapest way to buy tickets is prior to setting off!! Travel Republic website seems to be the cheapest. We called in on the way back last year after cutting our camping short due to weather. We rocked up at the ticket office to pay on the day 2 adults and 2 children for one day in both parks 334 euros!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still she'll shocked now!!!! Lol,

If you are still looking at annual passes take a look at Supertrips, I think they are quite good prices and have seen them recommended.

We went in Feb and had a great time. It is expensive but we loved it, not for everyone but our family had a great time. We are planning on going next summer with the caravan, staying in the Normandy area for a week and Paris (4 vents I think) for a week. First time abroad with the caravan.
