Hello. This year we are thinking of going to Provence and would be grateful for advice on sites in the area, we enjoy river access close to a town would be nice. Happy with quite of lively sites

Rivers in Provence are unpredictable - they can be trickles or they can be torrents, and as a result few campsites are anywhere near river banks. There have been too many terrible floods.

But if you can say when you are going, whether you want to be inland or near the coast, and how grand or simple a site you want....then offers will come in.

Well we are of back down to Frejus again July this year, as we enjoyed it so much last year.

Loads of campsites in the area, when are you thinking of going.

We haven't been to the area before. Last year we went to the Ardeche enjoyed. Kayaking, rope assault courses. So somewhere with activities very open minded

Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Ste Croix area perhaps?

Water sports, + tough trekking in the base of the gorge if you want activities.
