Hi all, I'm going to France this coming weekend with the mobile home and just wondering if anybody knows if electricity is available at or near Mont St Michel.
Thanks
Dave.

Hi Lawsond
Welcome to the site!
You will find that pretty well all campsites in France have ehu available ... at least, in thirty years camping I can't remember a site without.

you can buy a plug with a display on the back which tells you, once you have connected, whether the polarity is reversed. If it is, you have to switch live and neutral on your hook-up plug, to get the right polarity.
Everything works with reverse polarity, but there can be safety issues. Changing the connections can be fiddly and difficult when you least want to do it, so I'm sure there is some sort of adaptor available. I just have two leads, each wired differently - an expensive way of doing it, but I had a spare lead. There are people who will say that reverse polarity is acceptable, but I don't take chances with electrics.

further - your television should be alright on 6amp. I recently went on a site with 6amp for the first time and found that it only trips out when you forget to switch off the water heater and use the kettle. I also found it alright for space heating on the 500 watt setting.
