Hi, we're travelling lighter to France this summer and I'm looking at really mini camping stoves like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vango-ACXSTOVE-DAKZ36-Folding-Stove/dp/B0039VXC4I/ref=pd_sim_200_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1DMXD42YRJYYFG6WX6TF
But they take threaded cannisters like Coleman or primus, NOT campingaz which I see everywhere in France. Admittedly I've never looked for anything else there - so can anyone tell me if they've found the threaded type in France. If we're aiming to travel super light it seems daft to stock the car with gas cannisters. We'll only be actually camping for 1 week of the hol (which really means 6 days when we're set up) so - another question - how long do you think mini cannisters would last? We may even bring 2 of the little stoves as they really are unbelievably small!
