Not True the longest caravan legal in England is 8 metres shipping length. As ours is Elddis Storm Twin Axle a
Which is towed easily and legally by Kia Sorento XS which is not 3.5 tonnes.

You are perhaps thinking of a wider van 2.55 mts. as they have in Europe which has to be towed by a larger vehicle.
