Present advice is don't stop near Calais unless you have too then check your vehicle

No issues getting on the ferry, as I said... It's that local approach given the current situation.   Would like to think there will be better controls in 12 Months but who knows.

I really wouldn't let it stop you travelling, as you said yourself it gave you no issues as it hasn't done for us either. We definitely saw more coming back last year than we have before but they really aren't generally interested in caravans too much.

However if its something you are going to worry over then maybe travel in the UK, plenty of lovely places to see

We are all different and we all have rational and irrational fears
