So we are planning to do Eurodisney next August with our 2 boys who will be 3 and 7. We are looking to camp fairly close by and have considered the 4 Vents site. Anybody have any other recommendations? Also, we would love to hear views on how many days you need to cover the park bearing in mind it will be August and busy!
Thanks all!

Hi slj76. We stayed at 4 vents in May half term earlier this year. We did one day in Paris and two days in Disney. We can't fault the campsite at all and would wholeheartedly recommend it. We have a six and nine year old. The pool was chilly in May but the children spent lots of time in the play park. The pitches are huge and the whole campsite is so well cared for. The owners take great care of it. The campsite is only a 15 minute drive to Disney (follow Disney village signs for parking - it's right next door to the park entrance). We spent our first day in WD Studios and one day in Disneyland. It was enough for us for a first trip but there were bits in both parks which we didn't do/see. We had no expectations and we all really enjoyed it - the ratatouille ride being our favourite ride of both days. With hindsight we should have had a rest day at the campsite in between our two disney days - our 6 year old was broken half way through the second day!! Also, we bought our tickets before we went on the French Eurodisney website. Hope this helps.

Another vote for 4 Vents. We stayed last August and we did one day at Disney and one day into Paris. I was surprised that the park was not as busy as we had thought it would be.

I've stayed at jablines and enjoyed. We have a large motorhome so leave it parked up and caught the bus outside the gate straight to Disney about 20 mins, very easy. It's part of a big park area so nice to explore that too.

Thanks all, really helpful replies. I hadn't actually considered that we could have a rest day at the campsite in-between the Disney days so that's a really good idea! Will have a look at Jablines too!

We're off to Les 4 Vents on Thursday for 2 weeks. We're not just doing Disney, there's so much more to see in the area as we discovered when we last went 2 years ago.

This time we're doing 4 days at Disney, Parc des Felins, Parc Asterix, 2 days in Paris (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Louvre), Chateau Fontainebleau and the Palace of Versailles. We also want a day in Provins too.

If you do want a day off during your Disney stay (which I do recommend, it's very tiring) there are loads of things to do there - Pentanque, Boules, there's a park, the only thing I will say is the pool is round and 1.8 metres deep the whole way, no shallow end.

There's a trailer with a bar and restaurant for the evenings, they do lovely snack bits like pizzas, crepes etc, bit pricey but nice. A bread van is there every morning too. There's wifi, but only really around reception.

I don't think this stay will be our last there, we love it. Tournan is only a 5 min drive where you can get the RER into Paris Central and it only takes about 35 mins.

We've been to Jablines twice specifically for Disney. Rather than bus we did a 15/20 min drive to Disney.

Site is good but best bit is there is a large swimming lake on the site with a sandy beach so its qood for having a relaxing day on the beach.

Also used nearby train station for direct train into Paris for another day out.

LCdvP for me. Just a wonderful place to be, great pools, and far enough/close enough equilibrium. Parc Asterix all the way as well!!!

Thanks all - good to know there are other things to do in the area. I think we'll be there for 7 days before we head off down to the Dordogne for the rest of our holiday so we'll have time for Disney and other things in between.
