Ok booked onto one in a couple of weeks and in the ferry club with which you get free breakfast. What sort of time do people go to breakfast allowing time to eat just before arrving in france ?
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
They have an automatic alarm (music) an hour before docking. we usually get up then, a quick shower and get our few bits together then go for a leisurely breakfast. When we travelled a couple of weeks ago even though what was on our trays was more than the £7.90 allowance we were just waved through.
You have to vacate your cabin 30 minutes before docking.
1.5 hours before docking. Me & him get up & shower. Get up them (x3) & shower. All dressed & up to breakfast. Sit down for 15 min's then it starts to get really busy in the restaurant. Slowly wander back to cabin, do teeth, last wees check bags. Up and watch the boat dock (my 3 year old calls 'the fairy' - keep reminding him it's a ferry)
Last year we (I) changed our clocks to French time before we went to bed and got up about 30 minutes before brekkie started to have a quick shower, etc. We arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before they opened or so we thought! Times for brekkie were in UK time so we had a 65 minute wait! Hey Ho, I was in trouble!
