Very often the Campanile and Premier Classe hotels have secure parking. You can check whether they have secure parking on their website.

Also search for Chambres D'Hotes (B&B) which are often well away from urban areas and therefore safer than secure parking in cities..

Have often left them on when using Formule 1 hotels ... locked parking areas at night.

If the are very expensive bikes, take them in your room with you, I doubt staff would even notice or be bothered.

We were at the Campanile/Premiere Classe Dunkerque (Armbouts Cappel) last Friday/Saturday and there was around 30 Bicycles (Dutch Type) just stood up in the car park near reception, some in fact blew over in the night, which I stood back up in the Morning.
When we took a bicycle last year, I broke it down and packed it into the Trailer, I would never leave a half decent bike out on display, either lock it in the car or put it in the hotel room, secure car park or not.
A strange but stupid fact of insurance, is that if your bicycle is stolen of your car whilst locked to a cycle carrier, it is covered by insurance, but if it is stolen from being locked inside your car, caravan, MotorHome or trailer, or nicked from your hotel room, it is not covered by the insurance!

Reverse park as near the boundary fence as you can (they all have them) and then no one can get at them.

Left our motor at the Ibis next to Cite Europe with bikes and surfboards on with no problems at all. Is secure parking plus a large contigent of police are based there too, which helps.

Can you email me valdaathome at gmail.com. Three times now I have tried to post a recommendation, and each time the post has disappeared.
Just quickly - the Premiere Classe at Val de Reuil, or Manoir des Deux Amants at Connelles, both booked through booking.com and both have secure parking, but I'd like to add just a bit more detail and for some reason it doesn't like longer posts!

I always take mine & my wife's into the rooms - no way I'm leaving several thousand £'s worth of bike on the car overnight - secure parking or not. Never had a problem with this at Novotel or Holiday Inn However, plenty of people do just leave them, though I doubt very much that my insurance company would consider that I'd taken reasonable security meansures if they did go walkabout!

Wrong direction for you but Holiday Inn Englos just outside Lille is right next door to the local Gendarmerie (actually share a car park) and we've left bikes on back of car whilst staying there. Also a big Auchan shopping centre on the other side of the roundabout, so perfect for an overnight and picking up supplies en route.

We always reverse park and then padlock bikes with security chain to roof bars which are non remove able.
We also padlock them all together.
Never had a problem
