We stopped at a premiere class hotel on the spur of the moment just outside Rouen - it was £37 a night for a huge room with a large diuble bed, bunk over the top and single bed. Very clean and in a complex with a few different restaurant chains. We had planned to camp but it looked like rain and I'd heard good things on this forum about these hotels. Impresses and would use again.

Hi does anyone use budget hotels in France when they're towing a caravan? Thinking of doing next year (so we don't have to unload, put up awning, etc etc just for the night) - but not sure about parking?
Thanks in advance!

Have you perhaps got too much stuff in the caravan if you can.'t use it overnight? Lots of people don't even take an awning, let alone put one up overnight.
